A self-organised summer-school of theoretical physics!

Young physicists, mathematicians and philosophers shall meet for a one-week expedition lost between earth and sky at the boundary of the thinkable world. The goal of this summer-school is to share deep discussions about physics and its foundations in an open and creative way for an intense time of learning, reflection and enlightenment – and all in a joyful atmosphere. With up to 18 participants, l'Agape will see a partition between more in-depth courses given in the morning and creative activities in the afternoon.

Courses. The six 4-hour courses will each be held by participants who have volunteered to do so during the preparatory phases of l'agape.

Activities. The afternoons are free but the organisers have devised a host of different scientific activities to encourage discussion and deepen understanding. See the 'Activities' section on the left for some ideas.

Talks. Each participant will also hold a short 20-minute talk during the evening aperitif.

Extra Days. For this year, we are offering participants the opportunity to stay up until the 6th of August. During these extra days, time will be completely free for discussions, walks, deepening the courses and anything else you wish to do.
